The True Induction TI4B has 2 heat setting options:

a) quick touch level selection: 1 to 10. The default is set to 5.
b) exact temperature settings (150 °F to 450 °F and varies in 30-degree increments).

To adjust temperature, press the temp button and see when the temperature light turns red. The default setting is 270°F.

The maximum power of one burner level is set at 10. However, when 2 burners are functioning their combined total is at level 10. So when you operate to all 4 burners at the same time they will adjust levels automatically.

The cooktop will enter in standby mode when the timer has reached the total time This is also for safety reasons. You will see an LED light EE on the display and you will hear a sound. To restart cooking after this standby mode, you should press the power button.

After cooking is complete, press the ON/OFF button to turn off the unit. This unit goes in “standby mode” if cooking time has reached a total of 150 minutes. This is a built-in safety feature. The standby mode is recognized by an LED light showing “EE” followed by a sound. To restart cooking after “standby mode” just press ON/OFF button and it will restart.

2. Surface

You should wire the unit directly to a 220V receptacle on an electric circuit of 25 amp breaker fuse.

The maximum power is 5.5 kW and it uses power sharing. The power range is between 100W and 3600W (the exact power settings). You can easily control the power using the touch keys on the control panel (power boost key, raise power key, power or residual heat display, lower power key).

The power boost function will help you to cook at a maximum power for a very short time (max 10 min). While in Boost mode, you can press the “-” control to deactivate it or you can let it go off automatically after ten min.

To prevent overheating, the power level is automatically controlled. If you use all the four burners, each heating zone will adjust to a maximum power of 5500W.

6. Ventilation

The fans will keep running for 1 minute after the cooktop has been switched off, but this is a normal thing for proper ventilation because the electronics items are cooling down.

But if cooktop shuts off while working, you have to verify that the fans are not blocked.
